There are at least 650 million people with disabilities in the world. The stigma and discrimination they suffer are common to all societies. People with disabilities are often denied chances to work, go to school, and participate fully in society, hindering their prosperity and well-being.
I believe that qualified individuals with disabilities deserve, and have a responsibility to fully participate in society. As an attorney, I plan to fight the negative stigmas associated with having a disability and will work to ensure that qualified people are recognized for their diverse abilities and resiliency in the face of adversity.
